South Water Kitchen's Sarah McComber has a few key Tavern policies that might be important to you. First, it's only Happy Hour by name. In reality, it's more like Happy Hours. From the moment we open the doors till the last guest leaves their seat, you'll find certifiable happy hour specials, open to close, seven days a week.
Second, the Tavern cocktail menu is seasonally updated alongside the dining room's menus. Which means your drinks will be prepared with fresh ingredients and juices that are in harmony with the particular season.
Third, the Downtown Dogs. The policy here is simple: You'll get a sizeable snack (we use the word snack loosely) made of sausages straight from the Tavern's brick oven. The Bayou Dog, the Chicago Dog, the Deep Sea Dog, the Wild Dog, even the Veggie Dog are served up hot and ready for unadulterated enjoyment, day and night.
And finally, our draft beers are American craft beers. These are red, white and blue brews that span the spectrum of beer-making style. Handmade ambers, lagers, hefes, seasonal specials… you'll find something new on tap and in rotation throughout the year.
